Hardware Engineer
Job Description
The candidate shall be involved in researching, designing, developing and testing the computer hardware as well as supervising its production and installation. She/He shall also be responsible for providing technical support to designers, testing and verifying hardware and support peripherals. She/He shall also monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
The job demands the candidate to have thorough knowledge of:
•Networking: IP addressing, Protocols, TCP/IP, Topology, LAN, MAN and WAN configurations.
•Hardware: Hardware assemble, disabling and trouble shooting Ethernet (cables)
•Operating system: Installations of Windows, 98, XP, 2003.ADS, Linux, MS Dos, MS Office.
