Job Description
Job Profile:
Project/Test management experience of at least 4 yrs and should have managed teams of sizes not less than 20 people.
Proficient in Software Development Life Cycle and a good understanding of the project software Processes.
Good experience in designing automation framework using QTP.
Knowledge of various SDLC models.
Strong customer interfacing skills.
Knowledge of best practices in the industry and the testing related industry standards.
Knowledge of test automation methodologies and be able to suggest the best possible ones to suit the customer requirements.
Good analytical, team building and people skills.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Strong Insurance Domain knowledge ( Personal Lines and Commercial Lines)
Should worked in any PAS system ( Insurity, OneShield, Duck creek)
Should have Certification in INS(21,22,23), Automation tool certifications and functional
knowledge of Release management and change management.
Risk analysis, risk monitoring, risk handling and risk mitigation planning.
Experience in creating and tracking the Test Plan and schedules.
Strong focus towards business and active search for more business opportunities.
Preparation of Test Plans and schedules.
Knowledgeable about the workload of the team and capability to understand the team constraints before committing to the customer.
Review the progress jointly with the customer and escalate any issues which he can foresee.
Provide visibility into the projects to the client and to the management of Semantic Space Technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skills required:
BS/MS Computer Science or MBA (Information Systems) with Minimum of 7 – 10 years experience.
Strong expertise in Automation testing in QTP-9.0, Test Director 9.0.
Strong expertise in Manual testing and testing methodologies, testing processes.
Able to handle multiple projects for the same customer and handle a team size of 10+.
Test Plan preparation and schedule Preparation.
Designing of test cases and creating automation scripts.
Defining test strategy & approach.
Interacting with the customer and resolving the customer needs.
Managing the Bugzilla for defect tracking and generating the bug reports on weekly basis.
Advocate appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects.
Domain expertise in insurance and an understanding of business processes in insurance industry.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
To ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables is a default expectation.
