TCPIP developer (layer 3/layer 4 protocol developer)
Job Description
* Development for Network/Security products.
* Good problem solvers and also adaptable to various programming languages/ domain.
* Delivery planning/team handling, Frame the timelines and deliverables for various releases.
* Work breakdown, estimation and assignment, tracking the deliverables, risk analysis and mitigation.
* Mentor and guide members of the engineering team as they design and implement components
* Design and implement key, complex components
* Work with the architecture team to translate software architecture into design
Desired Profile
* Experience in developing Internet security products on Linux
* Network programming skills
* Development of user and kernel level modules/processes
* Expert programmer in C and Perl
* Deep understanding of HTTP protocol, web and application servers
* Good understanding of other internet protocols like FTP, telnet
* Strong customer focus and solid communication skills
* Desire to improve internet security
