Required Skills
* 2-8 years of experience with at least 2 years of experience in Performance testing, Performance monitoring and tuning
* Excellent knowledge in end to end Performance testing process and methodologies
* Hands on experience in one of the industry standard / open source load testing tools (HP Loadrunner, Borland’s Silk

Performer, Radviews Webload, Mercury Interactive’s, OpenSource tools – OpenSTA, JMeter etc)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
* Working knowledge of Web technologies, client/server computing and databases
* Working knowledge of computer networks, networking hardware and the Internet
* Ability to operate independently or as part of a team http://www.ChetanaS.org
* Strong and assertive Oral and written communication skills
* Good time management skills; must be able to manage multiple tasks/assignments with staggered deadlines and due dates; must

be able to coordinate multiple tasks/assignments for several resources
* Preferably a development background - Java or .Net with an interest in Performance Engineering
* Awareness of onsite – offshore model - Desirable

Job Responsibilities

Interact with the business, development and, infrastructure team to gather the performance testing requirements.
* Coordinate with the stakeholders different teams and define performance (non-functional) SLA’s
* Design workload scenarios
* Understand the system architecture and identify appropriate monitoring tools.
* Prepare a comprehensive performance test plan
* Document performance test design documents
* Develop load test scripts.
* Create realistic workload scenarios for Load, Stress, Volume and Endurance tests and execute tests.
* Analyze the performance test results, document preliminary and summary reports, identify bottlenecks

WALK-IN INTERVIEW FOR TESTERS ON JAN 26, 27 Jan 2008

Job Description:
- Understand functional requirements documentation and release notes in depth so as to be able to identify gaps between the

required and actual product performance parameters.
- Develop test cases, test data and testing scripts for both manual and automation testing; execute operational test flows

with adequate technical depth in order to ensure complete and comprehensive testing coverage.
- Document proof-of-test results for timely engineering resolution, and verify, test, close test-outcome issues. Should

ensure effective defect tracking and document the outcomes clearly and in a timely manner. Provide test execution reports to

Team Lead on a periodic basis.
- Collaborate with beta-site testers in issue replication and resolution whenever required. Log defects in the Defect

management tool on a regular basis.
-Work with counterparts to help plan, build, operate and maintain the testing environment.
Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups.
- Perform thorough, comprehensive peer reviews of test cases developed by team members in a way that identifies to the

maximum extent possible issues/errors in the deliverable.
- Ensure adherence to quality norms prescribed through ISO, SDLC, STLC, CMMi etc in all activities

The candidate should have the following skills:
- Basic domain and product knowledge
- Exposure to testing software using contemporary defect detection and other relevant tools, ideally in a product environment
- Good knowledge in OOPs concepts, programming skills
