Medusind clients are assured of a reliable and consistent service delivery, through its robust delivery platform backed by intelligent business processes. Medusind’s operations are spread across two world-class facilities in India, each facility having reliable technological support, connectivity and business continuity planning. 
In addition to the diversity and redundancy built in for the WAN, a combination of methods are used to ensure extremely high uptime and availability of all computing systems, including RAID, equipment duplication, onsite parts sparing and support personnel, and secondary maintenance procedures.A combination of RAID 0 and 5 has been implemented for data security, guaranteed uptime and performance. Medusind has data recovery solutions using Mirrored OS disk images for quick recovery, a mix of DDS-3 DAT tapes and CD backups are used daily on rotation basis, and stored offsite as per policy. Both the facilities at Mumbai and Chennai are also structured to be uniform in terms of capacity, infrastructure, telecom, redundancy and operational logistics.

Medusind facilities have deployed branded IBM and HP/ Compaq running Win2K and Windows XP. The structured LAN is segmented using layer-3 switches of Nortel.  Dual combinable 1024Kbps IPLC provides 512kbps between India and US, scalable up to 2-mbps at short notice. The connectivity is split across two carriers to provide diversity. The last mile at US end is via multiple providers, including MCI. Medusind uses this structure to enable the capability to connect to the clients network at any critical stage.
