Job Description:· Understand software requirements and work closely with developers to define test plans.· Design Test Cases· Create Test Scenarios· Check / Review the Test Cases· Execute test suites using various testing techniques & manual or automation tools· Identify test cases which could potentially detect/ critical/ flaws.· Setup and configure test environments· Hands on experience in setup, creating/developing scripts, monitoring, reporting and performance analysis skills.· Generate and write clear and concise defect reports, and validate bug fixes· Maintain comprehensive records on the tests conducted across products/services/ platforms and the defects identified.
Candidate must possess:· A Diploma or Degree in any stream.· 2 to 5 years testing experience in Java &/or .Net based functional testing.· Experience in testing of web and windows based applications.· Complete testing life cycle experience, preferably on automated tools.· Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
