Business Continuity
Aztec has put in place an efficient and reliable backup/recovery infrastructures, mechanism and processes/procedures that is geared up to manage all scenarios of business continuity/ disaster recovery. In addition to backup/recovery and remote storage facilities, Aztec has a first level ‘disaster recovery/business continuity’ site in Bangalore. This site is designed to help Aztec to quickly gear up to continue its normal business with customers with the shortest possible delay, in the event of an unforeseen disaster striking its current development center. The same is tested at the end of every quarter. In addition, Aztec is actively pursuing to have the following systems/processes in place for backup/ recovery and business continuity as contingency measures against regional/geographical disasters: Using US locations (Santa Clara, CA) for backing up critical data and code; and using
US locations as alternate locations for business continuity. The relocation of team members to our first business continuity location is seamless and very easily managed, since the site is located on the outskirts of Bangalore itself. If the situation warrants, we can either assign some of our US-based engineers for the projects or have our India-based engineers to travel and work from other locations.

IT Projects
• Testing Project - Aztec contributed heavily in testing the client’s product.
• Porting Project - This part of the overall project was basically to move from the COM/CORBA component framework and replace them with suitable modules to provide similar functionalities.
• Co-development of a dynamic revenue forecasting product. - Aztec has participated in overhauling the architecture and design of their revenue-monitoring product. We are also carrying out continuous enhancements to this product.
• Testing Project - Aztec contributed heavily in testing the client’s product.
• Co-development of a e-fulfillment product - The Aztec team as part of the e-fulfillment product development team is working on various developmental activities.
