Business Continuity
THL is working on deriving a strategic business continuity plan on the basis of a risk assessment for establishing overall approach to business continuity. The risk assessment will identify the critical activities of the organization, the likely interruptions and their impact on the business continuity. The plan will also include the detailed actions to be taken in case of an emergency or interruptions to business and the responsibility for the actions. The plan will ensure that a timely recovery is possible and also include a clear description of circumstances under which the plan is activated. This plan will be followed by regular training, testing and maintenance activities to ensure the readiness of the organization for any eventuality.
Present processes in THL address the following issues information assurance and non-disclosure agreements; regular back-up of all servers and project repositories; off-site safe storage of backed-up media; and availability of critical IT infrastructure and work environment to move critical customer projects to its offices located within Pune (two offices) and in other cities (Chennai, Bangalore, etc.).
