In early 1999, LexSite.com was formed to build the premier online legal resource for India. On a smaller scale, LexSite was modeled after Lexis/Nexis to create the Lexis/Nexis or Westlaw of India. Today, LexSite is recognized as the sole online resource for Indian legal matters with over 200,000 documents, 65,000 cases and over 600 databases online, as well as a highly skilled legal team available for online services. LexSite currently has a team of lawyers, executives and technical personnel as part of its growing team. The company was founded by Ananth Nayak and Vivek Hurry and is supported by international venture capital investors, including Draper International and ICICI. LexSite is in the unique position to offer cost-effective, enhanced, value added services in India to the global legal services sector and publishing industry. It is able to effectively combine its technology development resources, with its legal knowledge and experience. The further growth plan being implemented by LexSite ensures applicable US legal knowledge, combined with highest-level English speaking Indian legal talent, and rapidly expanding IT resources. This permits LexSite to be the first Indian company to be able to offer legal business process outsourcing services including enhanced tagging, data collection, bulk research, accounting, client management, IT development, global data management, class action support, call center services, and the other services capabilities set forth herein, exclusively focused on the global legal services sector and publishing industry. • Document Management System - We implemented a comprehensive Workflow-based Precedent Management System for one of India's largest law firms to help them manage their internal library of precedents, documents and drafts. • Archive Management System - We implemented the customized archive management solution for Tata Central Archives, which is one of the largest corporate archives in the country. • ITES support software - We have developed a variety of web-based solutions to assist our teams in executing specific projects as well as to facilitate remote monitoring and reporting.
