Business Continuity

The company's business continuity plan and disaster recovery mechanism is based on leveraging our unique de-risking characteristics of our global delivery model. The company has interconnected global development centers all of which are connected through high-speed data/voice link’s using multiple service providers ensuring multiple paths to each GDC, ISDN backup from and to every location, alternate/backup site, fully configured backup routers. Its Bangalore and Mumbai centers are interconnected ensuring route diversity.  The company has an internet link of 1 MB as a backup, with wireless for last mile connectivity.  CGI has built in ability to quickly establish key communication channels for “safe mode” operations that can be activated in the event of disaster, to run key applications preferably from a remote location to keep important communications and interests alive.
