HYPERION FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANTS:
Educational Qualification: CA / ICWA / MCom / MBA

Job Description:
> Maintain HFMSystem 9 and related FDQM, BI+ Reporting, Shared Services tools
> Assist in the development and maintenance of data maps from Business Segment GL systems into HFM.
> Write and maintain financial reports in Hyperion BI+ Web Reports.
> Responsible for all aspects of the monthly close process, support global users, ensure all process controls and procedures are adhered to.
> Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining new applications.
> Assist user group as necessary and support the corporate accounting group.
> Make modifications to the logic/business rules as necessary.
> Develop documentation and training strategy for end-users.
> Serve as a liaison with IT supporting the Hyperion users and troubleshooting issues.
> Assist with all application upgrades and testing in the development environment.
> Work with users to identify inefficiencies in processes and propose solutions, where possible.
> Maintain system compliance from a Sarbanes-Oxley perspective.
> Control system security and users access rights using Shared Services and Active Directory.
> Liaise with several departments in an organization.

HYPERION TECHNICAL CONSULTANTS:

Job Description:
> Maintain & assist in development of existing Hyperion Essbase / Planning applications.
> Write & fix various Calculation Scripts.
> Enhance & support web based data entry forms within the Hyperion Planning application.
> Perform Essbase outline changes and create reports as required.
> Responsible for all problem resolution, incident closure & reporting.
> Provide issue trend tracking & analysis & makes recommendations for improvement.
> Utilize query tools to analyze and reconcile data and to produce adhoc reports.
> Provides management reporting to all levels of staff and senior management.
> Rotational on-call responsibility to support a worldwide service level agreement.
> Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
> Consumer packaged goods industry knowledge at a minimum, Home Entertainment experience ideal.
> Proficient production support troubleshooting skills.
> Ability to write technical specifications, program, test, and manage the transition of modifications through the quality assurance and change control process

- Understand functional requirements documentation and release notes in depth so as to be able to identify gaps between the required and actual product performance parameters.
- Develop test cases, test data and testing scripts for both manual and automation testing; execute operational test flows with adequate technical depth in order to ensure complete and comprehensive testing coverage.
- Document proof-of-test results for timely engineering resolution, and verify, test, close test-outcome issues. Should ensure effective defect tracking and document the outcomes clearly and in a timely manner. Provide test execution reports to Team Lead on a periodic basis.
- Collaborate with beta-site testers in issue replication and resolution whenever required. Log defects in the Defect management tool on a regular basis.
- Work with counterparts to help plan, build, operate and maintain the testing environment.
- Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups.
- Perform thorough, comprehensive peer reviews of test cases developed by team members in a way that identifies to the maximum extent possible issues/errors in the deliverable.
- Ensure adherence to quality norms prescribed through ISO, SDLC, STLC, CMMi etc in all activities

Education: Any Engineering / B.Tech / MCA / MSc
Experience: 2-4 years
