Job Description Responsible for software development in Clocks product.

Desired Profile Experience: Must have around 2 to 4 years of experience, with good knowledge of ASIC front end and/or back end EDA tools and exposure to HDLs.

Skills Required:

Must

o Hands on in C/C++, with work experience in data-structures and algorithms.
o Good knowledge of one of the HDL languages (Verilog,VHDL)
o Quality focus – one who believes in quality and wants to make a difference
o Understanding of basic electronics and digital design
Optional

o Good scripting exposure (Perl/Shell)
o Exposure to Unix/Linux platforms
Good communication skills with ability to understand customer use models and drive customer issues

Job Description
• Coding in C/C++
• Hands on work experience on embedded projects
o RTOS concepts (VxWorks / emBos / uCos / RT Linux)
o Interrupt handling
o Device drivers (Flash / Serial / EEPROM)
• Understanding of communication protocols (RS232/RS485/SPI/I2C/USB)
• Exposure to Testing
o Unit level/ Integration/ System level
o Test tools like – CPPUnit, Any other
o Bullseye coverage
• Work experience on micro controllers (NEC preferred)
• Good exposure on using Embedded IDE (preferably IAR work bench)
• Exposure on using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Good documentation skills
• HW debugging and testing skills

Desired Candidate Profile
• Understanding of software engineering development processes and strong quality awareness.
• Work experience from multi-site operations.
• Comfortable with working in a project oriented organization.
• State of the art configuration management tools – specifically Clear Case and Clear Quest.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM Project Model
