Recruitment for NETWORK MONITORING ENGINEERS
KEY Accountabilities
- Responsible for Real time Network Monitoring and Fault Reporting
- Responsible for ticketing logging based on the alarm reported.
- Responsible for transferring tickets to L1 engineers for problem resolution
Significant Demands
- Need to work on 24*7*365 shift pattern to support the real time network monitoring
- Need to capture all the network alarms reported and raise quality tickets against them
Working relationships and interfaces
- L1 Engineers on problem resolution
- Customer Front office team
- Field Engineers & third party support group (remote hands)technical competencies
(Skills and Experience)
Essential
- Basic understanding of basic telecommunication (E1/T1,DS3/E3,STM1/4/16/64, POS, SDH)
- Basic understanding of network/hardware related alarms
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies
Desirable
- Exposure to TDM transmission technology
- Exposure to NETCOOL / INFOVISTA / REMEDY/SMARTS
Skills
- Good analytical skills to isolate new issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
- CCNA is an advantage
