Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor position. Hands on product/solution development knowledge is a must.
•The position involves conceptualization of a product, design, development, debugging of application software, effort estimation and risk analysis of a project.
•The incumbent will design and implement new features, provide fixes / workarounds to bugs and innovate in alternate solutions.
•He should be competent to provide quick solutions to problems and taking a product /component through the entire life-cycle, improve the space – time performance, and improve on usability / reliability.
Experience - Desirable
•Should be comfortable in different concepts of source code management (Version control)
•Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services will be a definite plus
•Should be self-motivated, energetic and a fast learner
•Should have excellent communication skills (will need to interact with remote teams
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience - Essential
•Should be BTech/MTech/MCA in preferably Computer Science/Electronic Engineering from a reputed institute with 3 years of hands-on work experience as programmer/developer with a reputed software product company.
•Min 2 Year experience in Product development using Java, J2EE, XML, MVC, Struts, JSPs, WebLogic application server, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 etc
•Minimum 2 years experience in RDBMS including database designing, querying, and optimization
•Good understanding of Design Patterns, system architecture and configurations for enterprise web applications etc.
•Experience in developing applications on three layered architecture
•Practical experience in AMF/SOAP and Application Server
•Exposure to development environments like Eclipse, SVN etc.
