Technical Support Engineer
Job Description :
1. Support Desktop related issues
2. H/W Installation & Configuration, S/W Installation & Account Configuration, Email Account Configuration
3. System Performance: Virus/Software/Usage/Resources
4. Hardware: H/W Issues, Software, Upgrades, New Peripheral installation, configuration & troubleshooting
5. Software Installation: Installation, Service Request Resolution and Proactive Incident/Problem Mgmt.
6. Printer Services
7. Connectivity: LAN Wired/Wi-Fi, Internet, DHCP, Networking devices
8. Handle multiple customer sites
9. Manage escalation (technical and management) effectively and efficiently
10. Must be willing to travel across respective locations( Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu).
11. Must have own transportation (two wheeler).
12. Preferably Male candidates.
Mandatory:
1. Installation, maintaining and attending day-to-day user's problem calls
2. Installation and updating of Desktop operating system and other software
3. Configuring & maintaining e-mail clients
4. Troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems (Windows XP, vista, 2000 and 2003)
5. Maintenance of Windows and LAN
Secondary:
1. Good Communication and Customer Facing skills
2. Good Interpersonal skills
3. Preferred Certification: MSCE, MCP
4. Open to travelling within region for deployment and support
5. Maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge about:
o Hardware: HP/HCL/ACER and Assembled desktops
o Applications: Microsoft Office, Antivirus
o PC Network connectivity troubleshooting, Switch connectivity troubleshooting
o Peripherals troubleshooting (Printer, Projector, Scanner, Speakers)
o Standalone UPS
o Broadband connectivity troubleshooting
