GlocalEdge is growing rapidly, and recruiting a Senior Software Developer responsible for building and managing a development team. The role of the Software Developer is to bring an expert and professional level of software design, development and implementation. Your responsibilities will primarily be to apply your expertise to the development and maintenance of both current and new applications. You are also required to look for innovative ways to integrate GlocalEdge applications with other APIs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Job Responsibilities
· Architecting and Designing large scale web applications
· Responsible for the development and maintenance of web based applications
· Have expertise in coding and scripted systems in the following: JavaScipt, PHP, .NET, C, C++, AJAX or any other appropriate technology.
· Ensuring design and specification documentation is accurate
· Expertise working with MySQL database.
· Advise on, design and develop applications which are inherently secure at all times
· Recruiting & managing a team
Other Requirements:
· Technology savvy and at least 5+ years of relevant outbound sales job experience in an International setup.
· Attention to detail. Able to demonstrate project planning skills
· Demonstrates expert level understanding of PHP, XML, DHTML, ASP, ASP.net and other data presentation technologies
· Demonstrate and expert level understanding in VB.net, C, C#, C++.
· Experiences Visual Source safe and Visual Studio
· Experience in large scale application implementation
· Excellent problem solving skills
