Database Test Engineers required @ Teradata, Hyderabad
Job Description
Perform highly complex black-box tests in support of multiple phases of the Standard Development Life Cycle for the Teradata Data Warehouse product suite
Contribute to highly complex, system test specifications and plans
Perform problem detection, isolation and reporting activities
Provide accurate and timely reporting of project status to senior management
Interface and interact with cross-functional teams including test engineers, hardware and software engineers and engineering management
Contribute to new automation and test tool requirements

Education and Background
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in computer science or related discipline
Knowledge of black box test techniques and test automation
1-6 years experience with testing large scale systems
1-4 years experience applying test automation tools and techniques
Experience with multiple operating system environments including Linux and Windows
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in highly complex system level test environments is desirable
Experience with SQL, load utilities, stored procedures and functions is desirable
1-4 years experience with testing large scale data warehouse systems
Experience with C, C++, Java, Perl and XML programming is a plus
Experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
Teradata certification is desirable
Experience 2 - 6 Years
