Job Description –
Need consultants with experience in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
Client has home grown VB application on SQL/Server.
Client is migrating backend from SQL/Server DB to Oracle 11G DB.
This application integrates with 42 other applications via inbound and
outbound interfaces using DTS(Data Transformation Services) packages.
DTS is ETL tool in SQL/Server. Client has approximately 123 DTS packages.
Consultant will migrate these DTS packages to ODI packages.
Work involves understanding and analyzing the DTS pkgs, rewriting these into ODI pkgs,
documenting business rules in ODI and do unit testing.
This offshore resource will work with two onsite US based onsite resource to migrate these DTS pkgs.
