Desired Candidate Profile
• 1.5 to 3 years of coding experience in J2EE
• Coding experience using MVC architecture is a must
• Coding experience in Hibernate, Struts frameworks is a must
• Experience in Oracle or SQL Server database is preferable
• Experience in portal and Spring frameworks is preferable
Should have working experience in maintenance and production support projects
• Should be ready to work in night shift
• Should be able to adapt to the needs of support(help desk) requirements
• ITIL v3 certification is preferable
• Should have good problem solving and analytical skills
• Should have excellent written and oral communication
• Should possess good interpersonal skills and be a team player
Job Description
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, over phone, through e-mail
• Diagnose and resolve issues reported in the application
• Research on queries from user, using available information resources
• Advise user on appropriate action
• Follow standard support procedures
• Log all support desk interactions
• Identify and escalate situations requiring immediate attention
• Track and route problems, document resolutions
• Create necessary reports
• Stay up-to date with application information and updates made to the application
