Engineer with 4-6 years of experience
Knowledge on OOAD and UML notations are must.
Knowledge of XML and experience in developing Java applications using XML
Web Development: HTML, JSP, Servlet, STRUTS, Webservices, J2EE
Working level knowledge on following tools/frameworks: Apache Ant, Junit and Log4J
Working level knowledge or Java development experience using the following protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, LDAP and SOAP
Should have experience in working with Configuration Management, Source Control, Release Management (CVS, Rational ClearCase) tools.
Eclipse or any Eclipse based IDE development environment
Administration features of BEA Weblogic, Jboss and Tomcat Application server
Advanced knowledge on Solaris and Linux operating system
Administration and Programming comfort over Oracle and MySQL database.
Knowledge over Application level or network level protocols.
Job Description
Fully comply with company development standards and processes.
Participate and will drive the Requirements gathering, high-level and low-level design.
Participate in meetings with customers/MU project team on solution issues.
Code and unit test in conformance to standards and design specifications
Prepare unit test, system test and acceptance test plan
Mentor junior programmers and steer
Participate and drive design review and code review.
Participate in installation, integration and User Acceptance testing
Handle change requests related to the solutions
Participate in solving support issues/change requests in the support phase
Follow configuration and release management processes.
