Job Description:
Mandatory Skills:
· The primary focus is DataWare Modeling.
· Data Modeling using SSIS and SSAS (MS technologies).
· T-SQL and Stored procedures.
Desirable Skills:
· Cognos and Other reporting tools like SSRS.
· Integration Development & Enhancements.
· Development of new application Integration using SSIS, and .Net/C#.
· Enhancements of existing Integration Layer.
· Gather requirement for enhancements and new application Integration.
· Detailed Level Design for enhancements and new application Integration.
· Code Management using VSTS.
· Data cleansing and standardization.
· Leading the team technically, resolve the technical issues the team is facing etc.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Should have to participate in requirement gathering, design, support.
· Need to have experience in COGNOS, SSIS and with strong BI/DW (Data modeling and analysis) concepts.
· Should be good in advanced TSQL development with SQL server.
· MDX query writing and hands on TSQL integration with MDX.
· Expertise in creation of cube and dimensions (Star, Snowflake, Parent child, de-generated, Junk dimension, Role, Time Slowly changing, hybrid, Fast moving dimensions), data hierarchies and processing of cubes.
· Should have worked in multiple data/file formats for creating SSIS packages.
· Should be conversant with staging DBs for data cleansing.
· Creation of Data integration package and Scripts.
· Defining and creation SSIS packages and flows (Staging to master and then to cube etc).
· Different files need to be used for data transfer (Spread sheet, Flat files, Excel or any other data formats (ASCII, EDI etc).
· Should be good with Data Analysis and Data Modeling.
· Basic knowledge on SSRS.
· Should have leadership skills to lead the off-site team.
· Good English communication skills.
