Job Description
The Orb system provides access to many internet-based streaming sites. Access is provided through modules implemented in the Lua programming language. We are seeking an experienced software developer to maintain and expand our directory of online media content. Lua Programmer would be responsible for the maintenance and development of objects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain library of interfaces to online streaming sites
- Verify proper functioning of sites
- Modify interfaces when sites change
- Develop interfaces to additional sites
- Develop scripts to automate the testing of site interfaces
- Work closely with California-based development team. This requires work hour flexibility for periodic conference calls during PST working hours.
Requirements:
- Computer Science degree (BE or equivalent)
- Minimum of Two years experience as a professional software developer
