Senior Drupal Developer
Desired Candidate Profile
* A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience)
* Solid understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS
* Minimum 3 years of Drupal programming experience (samples of applications that you have worked on are required)
* Ability to communicate and work well with others
* Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges
Experience that would be a plus:
- Knowledge of SEO coding best practices
- Experience building social networking or community-oriented sites
- Experience in the online publishing industry
• Expert-level understanding of PHP and HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript
• Advanced experience with Drupal architecture for high-traffic sites, module configuration and overall best practices
• High-level of familiarity with Drupal API’S
• Up to date knowledge of user experience design principles and current usability trends
• Ability to create a tableless CSS-based Drupal theme
• Understanding of third-party API integration, project will involve Recurly.com API
• Ability to work as part of a team utilizing source/version control systems
• Working knowledge of Drupal/LAMP peformance

Job Description
* Custom programming and web application development for Drupal
* Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing company sites
* Contributing ideas and efforts towards internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions on various problems
• Manage a team of Drupal Developers. Hours need to be flexible in line with projects and locations.
• Implement/Configure contributed modules and develop custom modules as needed to meet project requirements
• Participate in daily SCRUM meetings as well as regular review sessions
• Compile accurate time estimates and work within 2-3 week sprints to achieve objectives
• Assist with planning future sprints, releases and managing deployments
