Job Description:
Changing or rewriting operating system dependent code to operate properly on VMS; correcting compilation errors in code; debugging and resolving runtime errors discovered during individual testing or as reported by the QA team from long regression tests before release; debugging and resolving runtime errors reported by customers as bugs after release; merging VMS-specific changes from previous releases to current release, resolving any conflicts with or changes in the base unix code; reporting VMS portability issues to base development team via porting exception bugs; reviewing Oracle functional and design specifications to identify potential upcoming portability issues.
