Job Description
Responsible for designing and developing business applications software. Understands business, customer and technical requirements that drive the analysis and design of software solutions. Participates in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, including analysis, design, creation, test and implementation of software. Supports existing business applications by correcting problems and implementing enhancements.
Responsibilities include:
•Ensures the quality of software products delivered to customers (software performs to specifications, software has been thoroughly tested)
•Follows required corporate processes and policies.
•Creates system documentation
•Appropriately documents code
•Creates and executes test plans
•Translates functional designs into technical designs
•Data structure design
•Collaborates to Application architecture
•Creates or contributes to project estimates
•Completes projects on time
•Creates and manages software release schedules
•Ensures appropriate source code versioning and control
•Creates, maintains and supports development tools
•Communicates with appropriate stake holders (user community, business relationship manager, technical staff, application architect, application development director)
