Oracle Apps - Programmer Analyst
Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for defining, designing, configuring/developing, testing and maintaining standard and custom extensions to Oracle Applications
• Working with Oracle support and development to identify and resolve issues within the standard applications
• Responsible for design, development and testing of complex custom interfaces and reporting as well as enhancements to existing interfaces and reporting
• Providing support to world-wide end-users of the Oracle Applications E-Business Suite at PTC.
• Working with the business to find solutions (technical or non-technical) to business problems, and improve business processes.
• Schedule and estimate work to meet completion dates and technical specifications.
• Analyze functional end user requirements and create Oracle Applications technical detail design documents following Oracle Applications best practices.
• Documenting code, unit test results, and standard operating procedures to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and facilitate 24x7 support coverage.
Desired Profile
3-5 years of technical design, development, implementation, documentation, and support experience.
• Proficient in managing/delivering projects in Oracle applications in an onsite/offshore model
• Proven Oracle Applications 11i (preferably 11i10) support and enhancement experience.
• Proficient in creating/maintaining database objects – tables, views, packages, functions, procedures and triggers.
• Strong, proven experience using PL/SQL, Oracle Reports 6i, and Explain Plan (and other performance tuning tools).
• Proficient in: registering concurrent programs, forms, and functions; updating request groups; configuring flexfields.
• Experience building complex forms in Oracle Forms 6i particularly using the Oracle Applications forms template.
• Oracle application module: Experience two or more of the following applications: Core Contracts (OKC), Experience with Service Contracts (OKS), Install Base, Oracle Incentive Compensation (OIC), Oracle Receivables (AR), iExpense, iProcurment, Approval Management Engine (AME), Oracle Order Management (OM), Trading Community Architecture (TCA), Oracle General Ledger (GL), Oracle Payables (AP) and Oracle Purchasing (PO)
• Some knowledge/experience of the following is desired: Oracle Workflow Builder, Perl, Java/JSP, BPEL, BAM, XML / EDI (and the associated Oracle Gateways), Optio (Design Studio), Web Services, Brio, Customer Data Hub (experience with any of these is a definite plus), Taxware, Oracle Applications Framework.
