o Learn and adapt applicable technologies , products and tools
o Demonstrates good understanding of the product
o Develops in depth knowledge in certain components of the product

o Develops and executes Unit Tests
o Follows standard process and procedures
o Identifies and resolves software bugs

o Tests and integrates with other development tasks
o Demonstrates problem solving and innovation
o Proactively picks up development and maintenance tasks
o Proactive reporting of all activities to the reporting managers
Desired Profile
o 2-6 years of solid Java / J2EE coding experience: hands on, real-world web development experience
using JSP, Java Servlets, Java Struts or similar framework (i.e. Spring, Hibernate, etc.), EJB and
JDBC.
o Skills working on both application front end and back end development
o Good SQL,PL/SQL skills and experience with Oracle.
o Good understanding of object oriented design, and basic knowledge of frameworks
o Bonus points for client side development experience using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
o Exposure to JMA, XML, Web Services is a plus.
o Ability to understand and work with new frameworks.
o Strong analytical skills and resourceful in issue resolution
o Experience contributing to automated test suite by writing unit and functional tests
o Experience with SCRUM methodology or extreme programming is a great plus
o Good COMMUNICATION skills.
o Any SCM Product development experience will be an added advantage.
