Jobprofile:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, networks, utilities, system management. Determines hardware compatibility.

Responsibilities
Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities
Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.

Eligibility:

Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years experience
Knowledge and Skills
Experience of software systems and products design tools and languages.
Demonstrable skills in system management products and web tools and technologies, security.
Programming and debug skills in C and/or C++ . Software development and/or software test knowledge.

Experience with OpenVMS or HP-UX or Linux or Windows server operating systems.

Ability to work in a team environment utilizing collaboration skills.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
Experiece in testing, coding, and debugging procedures
Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
