Senior Software Engineer Required at Intel
Job Profile:Responsible for I/O drivers and Board Support Package (BSP) development/enabling for Intel Architecture platform in OS such as Linux and Windows
. The scope of works including technical product requirement definition (technical translation from marketing requirement), driver architecture design and refactoring, software re-use and integration (adopt and modify), software-hardware co-design and IP analysis, and technical deep-dive analysis and troubleshooting. Knowing or having experience in IoT is a strong plus.
Eligibility:
You must possess a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Computer, Electrical Engineering or Engineering in a related field with more than seven years of I/O driver and BSP development and/or OS system integration experience. Master or PHD is preferred.
Additional qualifications include:
- Strong Programming Skills in C/C++. Knowing Assembly is a plus
- Good understanding of OS and kernel system and architecture, such as Linux and Win7
- Excellent Intel Architecture system-level knowledge and debugging skills
- Working knowledge in the software engineering development process, project life cycle
- Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to drive technical discussion with key stakeholders is a must.
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations
