Business Continuity


Keane India (KI) has a formal and well-documented Business Continuity Plan in place for all its ADCs (Advanced Development Centers) and for its specific client engagements. The strategy encompasses connectivity issues to the complete physical outage of facilities. With the help of these documented plans, we ensure that connectivity, resources, and infrastructure are available for successful delivery and execution of client projects.
In conjunction with the client, Keane ensures that the client business (mission critical, business critical and non-critical) priorities are documented. The recovery time is also discussed with the client, keeping in mind the parameters such as system down time (offline), data lost due to the outage, and the time required for recovery of the services. Based on these inputs, Keane establishes a comprehensive Business Continuity solution according to client standards.

Once the Business Continuity plans are finalized, they are reviewed and tested to ensure compliance with client needs. Keane’s ADC operations staff, semi-annually or if there is a significant modification of the production environment, conducts review of its Business Continuity Plans. Clients are encouraged to participate in the Business Continuity tests.

Majority of Keane India ADCs (Advanced Development Centers) are housed at government sponsored STPI zones (Software Technology Parks of India), assures high level of availability for critical resources like power etc by means of multiple electric feeders. The backup multi Diesel generators provide long-term uninterrupted power and UPS protection provides short-term uninterrupted power. 

The use of an alternate ADC as “Hot Site”, to sustain mission critical systems and 100% redundancy has been designed into mission critical hardware, software and connectivity.
