Job Description
We are looking for a candidate with 2-5 years experience in programming who is capable of maintaing and developing software specifc to company requirements for our retail stores.
The candidate should be able to perform a variety of programming assignments requireing knowledge of programming procedures and data processing requirements.
One should be able to code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, databases through programming technology and redefine data and format final product.
Candidate should be able to evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part. Analyze performanace of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users.
One should possess some knowledge of Point of Sale programe.
The candidate will also be in charge of the company website and should be able improve, mainatin, monitor and identify opportunities to grow and enhance company web site to keep it current and entice visitors.
Mainatin confidentialitywith regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
Candidate should be able assist personnel of other departments as IT source and diligently carry out other duties as assigned.
The candidate will be based in East Africa and will be required to travel within the continet of Africa to implement any new software and train retail sales staff.
Interviews will be conducted in Mumbai and candidate should have valid passport for immediate travel.
