• Fundamentals of computer science: object-oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms.
• Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks.
• Good knowledge of any JavaScript toolkit (jquery, extjs, etc.)
• Proficiency with HTML, XML, CSS and other front-end programing.
• Experience with multiple operating systems (Linux is essential).
• Experience with several relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2). Worked on MySQL with good RDBMS knowledge.
• Understanding of Ajax.
• Development process tools: compilers, debuggers, profilers, version control systems, code coverage and automated testing tools.
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Extensive prior participation in agile software development processes, with emphasis on requirements gathering,
