Domain competencies (preferred): Some exposure to one or more any of the following BFS domain areas – Retail / Corporate / Net Banking, Remittance, Clearing, STP, Service Charges, Advances, Credit Cards, Imaging, Document Management / Workflow, Treasury, Depository / Custody, etc.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Art, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science , Bachelor of Computer Application , Bachelor of Engineering/Technology, Master of Commerce , Master of Computer Application/Computer Science, Master of Science, Master in Business Admin/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/Post Graduate Program in Management or Master of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Job Description
Follow up with Vendor for timely release.
Project kick off meeting with BPRG and vendor and project execution planning.
Preparation of the test setup (Application area creation, DB backup and restoration, Branch Pointing, Interface Pointing etc).
SIT to be done as per agreed plan. Ensuring projected timelines for the projects are met, if not, highlight the reasons for deviation
Rollback/volume/regression testing.
Monitor the batch processing to check the impact pre and post changes.
Monitor blockings, lockings, DB sar utilisation etc during SIT/UAT and highlight impact of changes, if any.
Monitor the performance impact during volume testing.
Support technical UAT issues and liaison with vendor for function issues.
Liaison with DBA/OS support team and other technical team for resolution of errors.
Follow up with vendor for timely resolution of the errors.
Project review meeting with BPRG.
Maintain Complete project documentation.
Updating PMS to keep all stake holders informed of the project status.
Liaison with vendor for movement of the enhancement to production.
Co-coordinating with CCB member for CCF Approvals.
Preparing changes in DPC checklist / Processes.
Preparation of application release process note for clean rollout
Creation of knowledge base for change
Training of DPC on the new processes being introduced.
Informing vendor and other stake holders of production release.
Post production support as per agreed SLA.
Ensuring backup of the area which is important for project.
Follow up with different departments for sign off for the signed project.
Post production review.
Ensure that impact on existing Production Systems is adequately analyzed and documented for.
Assist Seniors in New Initiatives – for working out Project Plans, validate infrastructure requirements, Technical details, suggest Costs saving options, etc.
Review and provide inputs on Technology & Performance Improvement initiatives, Process streamlining Initiatives, etc. (if any).
Vendor Management/Co-ordination – Interact with Vendor on-site / Off-Site Delivery Teams for getting deliverables as per Project Timelines, ensuring quality of deliverables and necessary escalations.
Reading, understanding adhering to the latest ITPP policies and processes.
Maintaining and monitoring the SYBASE database.
Regular review DB sar utilization, locking, blockings, physical IO monitoring, sysmons, logsegment utilization, tempdb utilization
Database Management tasks
Managing users and logins at database level and providing permission to access the authorize data only.
Managing to take the backup of database and managing restoration of the database when required.
RDBMS – Oracle, Sybase
OS – Windows 2000 server, SUN Solari Unix
Development Technologies like D2K/ JAVA/ VB
Hardware Platforms: IBM/SUN/HP
