KEY FUNCTIONS:
System Level Test and Burn-In Hardware Co-op
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Manufacturing technology development focused on the development and deployment of custom-designed system level and burn-in test equipment used to test AMD's microprocessors. Tasks would include test plan creation, script creation, hardware/system setup, test plan execution, data collection and debug.
Depending on the specific project assignment, will perform applicable functions from the following:
Participates in the design of new products from high-level architecture, through logic schematics and/or circuit schematics.
Develops test requirements, specifications and patterns.
Performs logic and circuit design verification via software and hardware.
Participates in the design and development of specifications for new products based on an understanding of complex system-level requirements.
Participates in checking final layout and subsequent data bases.
Supports product and system level software debug and characterization to determine product performance, process and test sensitivities.
Works on related projects and/or assignments as needed.
