Business Continuity
Ajuba has an exhaustive business continuity plan, which has been documented, implemented and tested in preparation for BS 7799 certification. The plan lists out the various disruptions by function and classifies them into different levels. These classifications guide the response mechanism. A formal business continuity organization has been put in place that responds
to disruptions based on the level, as per a documented and tested response mechanism. Disaster scenarios, given their large impact, are addressed and classified separately. For each impact category, an action plan is documented along with detailed recovery guidelines. Regular backup and offsite storage is an integral part of recovery. Ajuba takes a weekly backup, with incremental back ups during weekdays. An intuitive numbering and labeling policy is followed to facilitate easy retrieval.
Redundancy in all aspects makes the business continuity and contingency plans much more robust. Thus, Ajuba has a co-location site in Los Angeles, CA. Redundant leased lines exist between offshore facilities and offices in the US and UK. These lines are leased from different service providers. The company has taken a conscious decision to spread operations to minimize
risks.
