Job description:
Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
Experience in two or more of the business areas covering underwriting, policy servicing, Claims, Sales and distribution, Reinsurance. Experience with Underwriting/Policy Admin area is a must Minimum 1 end-to-end implementation experience with any one of the COTS products such as eBaoTech, Collaborus, Camilion or similar product in the policy administration space Experience in Gap analysis, requirement management, workshop handling and customer stakeholders management Experience in the commercial and personal lines of business Hands on experience on use cases, functional specification, BRD and
other project artifacts related to requirement management Experience on SDLC process. Exposure to Functional testing, product configuration on Insurance COTS products Thought leadership in areas of insurance trends, best practices,
industry research within P&C insurance industry. Ability to engage with senior team of customers on Industry subject/themes
Valid H1B visa for US will be an added advantage

MindTree’s main data center is located at in Bangalore, India. In addition each of its development centers/offices (in the US) also have separate data centers, which cater to local needs and reduces the dependencies on international data links. The backup / disaster recovery plans involve updation of emergency recovery disk every quarter or after any configuration changes; and intelligent disaster recovery backup of all critical servers on monthly basis. Weekly backups are kept in a fireproof vault and monthly backups are kept at a remote site. Moreover, servers configured with Active Directory Service (ADS) security and containing critical data are kept at the remote location. Critical software tools and applications are also
stored at remote location. MindTree enjoys a healthy relationship with vendors including Compaq/ HP, which will help in delivery of standby equipment, in case of emergency. Therefore even in case of the data center being rendered unusable, we can recover all critical systems quickly. Veritas “Backup exec” is used as standard backup tool and dedicated backup servers are configured for taking backup of critical / project related data. Compaq’s multiple slots tape library with auto loader is used as backup device. MindTree has three backup devices.

MindTree has standardized on Cisco for all networking equipment. Cisco 3600, 2600, 1700 series routers are being used for WAN connectivity. LAN is based on Cisco 5500 series switches. All critical networking equipment is under 24x7 support with resolution time of 24 hours. The router configuration is maintained in a hard copy format and is stored at a remote location.
