CSPL’s site and technology infrastructure is set up as an integral part of Bank of America’s (The Bank) global network. This ensures that all aspects of infrastructure (site, servers, communication links, backup power etc) are implemented with multiple levels of redundancy and significant resilience to withstand damage. CSPL has adopted the Bank’s classification of “disaster-level event” and has planned as per its requirement.  The primary strategy adopted is that in the event of a Level 1 disaster (viz. the most severe), transaction processing will be “handed back” to the parent organization. Hence, the BCP focuses on achieving a robust, streamlined and effective communication, escalation and handover process. It also lays stress on ensuring that the plan is continuously updated, periodically tested and maintained in a form that is usable in any emergency.

IT & Telecom Infrastructure

Continuum has adopted the Bank’s standards, policies, procedures and benchmarks in all aspect of technology management. This ensures that components of IT infrastructure (servers, desktops, software, networking & communication equipment) are identical in brand, configuration and management processes as in any other site of the Bank.  Continuum is also completely integrated with the Bank’s global WAN. The end-to-end process of procurement, installation, monitoring and disposal of all technology assets is guided and reviewed on a 24x7 basis by the Bank’s global supply chain and network operation centers. All IT assets are designed with adequate redundancy and fault tolerant features.
