Infovision Software Pvt Ltd is a leading IT and IT Enabled Services company and solution provider to Global Business having offices in India and the US. It provides services in medical transcription, training on medical transcription, software development and other BPO activities. In medical transcription, the company has state-of-the-art production units in Kolkata and Mumbai and a strength of more than 350 employees. Entering into its fifth year of operations with a capacity of 2,00,000 lines per day, it serves numerous medical facilities in the US. It also provides MT training to freshers at a subsidized cost and absorbs those candidates after successful completion of the training. It is a 100 percent EOU and is proud to be associated with NASSCOM, STPI, CII, MTIA, AAMT and MTINDIA as member. Infovision Software Pvt Ltd has got a 50:50 joint venture in the name of Choice Transcription Inc located at California, US, which caters to the areas of healthcare and back office operations in the US. Recently all four of its MT units located at Kolkata and Mumbai were certified under ISO 9001- 2000 standards. Moving up the service value chain to other healthcare BPO activities like medical coding and billing are also being actively pursued which are prevalent in most countries even outside the US. To keep the flow of skilled manpower, the company has started in-house 6-month medical transcription training for the freshers who are subsequently absorbed in its production after successful completion of training.

In the event of various disasters / worst-case scenarios, a BCP is in place to ensure that work is not entirely disrupted or brought to a standstill. In order to mitigate risk and minimize the possibility of disruption to services, production is spread over four units in two different cities. In order to mitigate risks arising out of rising costs, declining rates, changes in exchange rates, competition from other countries, changes in laws and trade regulations, changes in diplomatic ties between countries, etc. and to ensure continuity of the business in the long term tie-ups have taken place with multiple US MTSO’s to generate the requisite work volumes. Moving up the service value chain to other healthcare BPO activities like coding and billing are also being actively pursued which are prevalent in most countries even outside the US. In order to reduce risks due to technological problems, a combination of various types of hardware and software are used as well as bandwidth and ASP services from multiple service providers so as to reduce the dependence on any one provider.
IT & Telecom Infrastructure
Hardware and infrastructure are all fully redundant having multiple backup options. The company has site redundancy at its 4 locations. Servers have dual processors, dual power supply, multiple hot swappable hard disks and there is a separate back up server. Infovision has a 512 kbps internet connectivity through leased line backed up by ISDN and PSTN dial up. Client hotlines are provided at each location through direct landlines in the production area as well as through wireless lines with the production supervisors.
